Pancakes with Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • First Chair maple syrup, to taste

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour in the egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix until it’s smooth and no lumps remain.

  2. Lightly spray a griddle with Pam (yes, sorry!) and heat over medium heat.

  3. Pour the batter onto the griddle. Once the pancake mix starts to bubble and is lightly browned, flip and cook through.

  4. Serve with plenty of First Chair maple syrup!
