Flank Steak with Maple and

Soy Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds flank steak

  • 2/3 cup rice wine vinegar

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup sherry

  • 1/2 cup First Chair maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt

Preparation:

  1. In a small saucepan, simmer the rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sherry, and maple syrup over low heat until the mixture reduces and thickens; approximately 20 minutes.

  2. Pour the mixture into a large container and marinate the meat for 12 hours (or more!).

  3. Grill to taste.
